Veterans Memorial Dedication

On Saturday May 17th at 10am please join us for our Veteran's Memorial Dedication at the Veterans Memorial site across from the Jewett townhouse located at 3547 County Route 23C.

 

Lite refreshments will follow afterwards in the townhouse.

Congratulations to Town Clerk Maya Carl for being awarded her RMC certification. RMC stands for Registered Municipal Clerk. As an RMC she has demonstrated that she is dedicated to her profession as a municipal clerk and have met the high standards of the New York State Town Clerks Association.

Zoning Board of Appeals

The next regular zoning board of appeals meeting is scheduled for Wednesday June 5, 2024. If you wish to inquire further, or have a matter to raise before the Board, please call the Town Clerk, Maya Carl at 518-263-4646 Ext.1, or send an email to ZBA-Board@townofjewett.org. Please be aware in order to be placed onto the agenda, one must be denied a building permit first and have a completed application to the town no later than 14 business days before the scheduled meeting.

 



 

 

Sheriff Office in Jewett
The Sheriff's station in the Town of Jewett will be open for pistol permits, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call 518-943-3300 x8003 to schedule an appointment in JEWETT regarding pistol permits.
